The EGP-Guizhou project, carried out between 2012 to 2015, aimed to improve the public’s access to environmental justice and to improve the environmental governance in China.
A number of project deliverables have been developed to raise the awareness and capacity among the general public, governmental officials, civil society organisations, judicial authorities, enterprises, volonteer lawyers and media. The project is part of the EU-China Environmental Governance Programme and is financed through Europe Aid.
Project partners are IVL Swedish Research Institute, All-China Environment Federation (ACEF), Guizhou International Cooperation Centre for Environmental Protection (GZICCEP) and Guiyang Public Environmental Education Centre (GPEEC).
